This mower is as perfect as you are going to find for a classic Craftsman. I bought this new 17 years ago because I liked the look of it and that it was one of the only Craftsman models to ever have a fiberglass hood to copy the John Deere’s. It did kind of resemble the John Deere’s of the time too. I only used it every so often so after 17 years it only has 98 hours on it, that may soon be 100. Ever since I bought it the Kohler 20 HP engine has always had Full Synthetic 10w-30 and a new oil change with oil filter and air filters every spring as well as a hand wax. Everything was also greased yearly. This mower is as nice as you will ever find if you want the famous DLT2000, this may be the best in existance. The only things not original are the newer Diehard battery and Sears did give me a new fuel tank years ago because the old one had a leak in the seam. The only flaws on this mower worth mentioning is the mower deck has surface rust near the plastic shoot on the right side of the mower. Thank you for looking. John Deere 755 diesel 4 wheel drive hydrostatic drive compact tractor with 60 mowing deck. Has front loader joystick with quick couple hydraulic outlets. 1989 model by the tractor serial number. The deck does mow but has rust holes and several welded patches. Deck needs to be replaced or needs more repair. Gear box and drive shaft are good. Tractor is missing rear 3 point lift arms and center link. Engine is a Yanmar diesel which starts and runs good. Tachometer does not work and hour meter does not work. Shifts into all gears fine. 4 wheel drive works. All pto shafts turn when engaged. Comes as seen in pictures. John Deere Hydraulic Blade / Plow to fit JD Lawn and Garden Tractor models 420 or 430. This is a very nice blade, mechanically and cosmeticly very good! There is not a lot of wear on this blade, hydraulic cylinders, hoses, and ends are all in good condition. Wear edge is good. Has the power angle kit installed / included. This plow is compatible with JD Lawn and Garden Tractor models 420 and 430, but would also require a front adapter / frame extension to be used on a 430. This blade will not fit John Deere Lawn and Garden Tractor Model 400 with out either changing the mounting frame or using a wider lower cross bar on the 420/430 plow mounting frame/bracket. 1999 John Deere 455 Diesel. 2 owners since new. Has never been left out. Always in the garage and babied. Original green paint, has not been restored. Just a well taken care of tractor. Deck is 54 and also in good shape. Deck has been touched up from rub marks here and there as you would expect. Tractor does have 1727 hours on it but maintenance has been kept up with no corners cut. Both the original owner and myself own older classic tractors as well as newer ones and take pride in what we own. The condition of this machine should show that. This is ready to go.
