This mower is as perfect as you are going to find for a classic Craftsman. I bought this new 17 years ago because I liked the look of it and that it was one of the only Craftsman models to ever have a fiberglass hood to copy the John Deere’s. It did kind of resemble the John Deere’s of the time too. I only used it every so often so after 17 years it only has 98 hours on it, that may soon be 100. Ever since I bought it the Kohler 20 HP engine has always had Full Synthetic 10w-30 and a new oil change with oil filter and air filters every spring as well as a hand wax. Everything was also greased yearly. This mower is as nice as you will ever find if you want the famous DLT2000, this may be the best in existance. The only things not original are the newer Diehard battery and Sears did give me a new fuel tank years ago because the old one had a leak in the seam. The only flaws on this mower worth mentioning is the mower deck has surface rust near the plastic shoot on the right side of the mower. Thank you for looking.
