This is a Kit containing parts normally needed to replace a plastic gear camshaft with a steel gear camshaft, kit number BJD37. It fits model 345, 285, 320 tractor and F725 front mower. You will get steel gear cam, 4 tappets, 4 valve springs, governor gear, gov. Sleeve, seal all necessary gaskets, oil filter, plus we are including the oil fill neck because they sometimes crack when removing drain plug. The plastic cams were used in early Kawasaki FD590V engines and often lose teeth over time. We recommend replacing the cam before this happens as it can damage the oil pump and water pump gears too. These parts are all new original Kawasaki parts. Oil and antifreeze are not included in this kit. If you need a new waterpump please check aare other listingings. THAT THIS KIT DOS NOT INCLUDE THE HEAD GASKETS. YOU DO NOT NEED TO REMOVE THE HEADS TO REPLACE THE VALVE SPRINGS. TO START WITH GET THE VALVES THAT BOTH OF THEM ARE CLOSED. THEN YOU CAN EITHER PRESSURIZE THE CYLINDER CAVITY WITH A RUBBER TIPPED BLOW GUN OR PUT A LONG PIECE OF SMALL CORD IN THE SPARK PLUG HOLE AND THEN TURN THE CRANK SHAFT TO MAKE THE PISTON PRESS UP AGAINST THE STRING TO HOLD THE VALVES STILL. AFTER COMPLETING THE TASK THEN REMOVE THE CORD FROM THE CYLINDER. Please note that in the picture it shows the two O ring style valve cover gaskets. These gaskets are less prone to leak than the o ring gaskets.
