Our Swivel (open / close) Chute Blocker Plate fits all Exmark Radius E/S series mowers (NOTE the deck size) with UltraCut series 3 deck sizes 48″, 52″ and 60 typically years 2017-present. The installation is really easy. Simply unbolt the factory chute by undoing just a few bolts and attach our chute blocker plate with the provided nylon locking hardware and you’re done! The variable function of the device provides a more custom approach to discharge, allowing the user the ability to quickly and temporarily direct and deflect grass clippings to meet their situational needs, and minimize some of the typical pile ups that come from a full closure, thus increasing their efficiency. As you approach a manicured area, simply reach down with your hand and pull on the cable until the chute plate drops into the fully closed position or into a variable position, depending on your situational needs. Once completing the area, pull back on the cable and the chute will pivot back into resting position. While in the variable positions, control and adjust the angle of deflection by holding the plate partially open with the cable, taking care to steer properly. After clearing the protected area, gently pull on the cable further, pivoting the chute plate back up into its resting position on the deck.
