NOTE This L&G Tractor will be listed locally begining May 1, 2019 Here is a John Deere model 430 Lawn and Garden Tractor with a 3 cylinder Yanmar Diesel and Hydrostatic drive. This tractor has 1925 hours and is a 1985 model. The deck is included and is the original 60. The deck has had some repairs thru the years but still worked. The problem with the deck can be fixed as it needs a new pto driveshaft and the shaft that comes out of the main gearbox. One half of shaft is bad might be able to get away with one half being replaced. The u joints are still good. The deck got shifted to one side due to bushing failure in the lift / stabilizer arms so this area needs some attention. The gearboxes are nice and tight. The main gearbox that feeds from the pto shaft will need a new input shaft. The blades are good and the belt is 3 years old. The front support arm has some welding on the left side threaded end the clevis was welded on. The tractor itself is in Good Condition with rear bar tread tires. The muffler broke couple years ago and was replaced with a piece of flex pipe. See pics for details. The engines starts and runs great. The only thing wrong with engine is it needs new glow plugs. It starts but it takes a little extra cranking. The original manual for the 430 and for the deck are included. The 430 manuals cover is torn.
