1976 Massey Ferguson 14 garden tractor. Hydrostatic drive works just as it should. Comes with cast iron wheel weights, a MF610 48″ mower deck and 48″ snow blade. The tractor itself runs good. The throttle cable may need to be replaced. After increasing the throttle, the cable works it’s way back to a lower idle setting on it’s own. Has hi / lo trans. The 48 mower deck is currently installed. Hydro lift works very well. The deck does have a small hole in the front left side. Nothing that can’t be easily repaired for the mediocre welder. Mows as it should, but does have some bearing noise. The left and center mandrels feel snug, while the outer right one does have some play. I would assume that those bearings are what’s causing the noise. 48 snow blade attachment looks in good condition. These tractors are good solid units. Not too easy to come by. I tried to describe the tractor as best I could, but may have missed a detail. Feel free to ask questions. The top bolt gets bolted fast with a spacer and the lower bolt and nut are bolted tight. The only thing is you will have to remove bumper to remove deck there is not enough clearance to removed front deck hanger to removed deck. Again that is easy to do with some simple tools. The mounting hardware is included in the price of this bumper and will be packaged together. These are very solid Steel bumpers. As you can see in the picture they mount these bumpers very close to the deck hanger but that is the way John Deere mounts them, it just barely clears.
