1972 Massey Ferguson 12 garden tractor. 4-speed gear with variable-speed pulley works just as it should. Comes with cast iron wheel weights, a MF510 42″ mower deck and 42″ snow blade. The tractor itself runs good. The 42 mower deck is currently not installed. The deck is solid, but mandrels do have play. So plan on replacing the bearings. 42 snow blade attachment looks in good condition. The drag link may need to be bent or replaced, as the tractor doesn’t turn to the left as mush as it should, or it may have an issue with the steering box assembly. These tractors are good solid units. Not too easy to come by. I tried to describe the tractor as best I could, but may have missed a detail. Feel free to ask questions. 1976 Massey Ferguson 14 garden tractor. Hydrostatic drive works just as it should. Comes with cast iron wheel weights, a MF610 48″ mower deck and 48″ snow blade. The tractor itself runs good. The throttle cable may need to be replaced. After increasing the throttle, the cable works it’s way back to a lower idle setting on it’s own. Has hi / lo trans. The 48 mower deck is currently installed. Hydro lift works very well. The deck does have a small hole in the front left side. Nothing that can’t be easily repaired for the mediocre welder. Mows as it should, but does have some bearing noise. The left and center mandrels feel snug, while the outer right one does have some play. I would assume that those bearings are what’s causing the noise. 48 snow blade attachment looks in good condition. These tractors are good solid units. Not too easy to come by.
