I have been getting a lot of questions about how to install the fuel door so here are some instructions to help you. Put the door on before you install the hood on the tractor. Long nosed mini needle nose pliers work the best and the left spring if the fuel door hole is closest to you is the one you do first because it is the hard one. You need to flip the hood upside down on a bed or table with the door end to you. Put the fuel door in position and put the left spring in the holes in the fuel door from the middle towards the outer edge. Take your needle nose pliers and grab the top arm of the spring and rest the needle nose on the coiled spring as a leverage point to get the hook of the spring up in the hole. You need to go in the 1/2 ” to 3/4 ” hole with the spring and it comes out towards the middle of the opening. The door may pop out of position. This is fine once you get the spring on you can reach under the hood and pull it back in place. The right side you install the spring the same direction as the left. From right to left.
