I do not want to separate the loader and tractor. The loader would probably fit a late 140 but not positive on that, any other garden tractor would be a lot of work to get it installed and would have to be heavily modified to make it fit. I bought the loader from my friend years ago off of an old Bolens garden tractor. It was used at a local school district for loading coal in the furnace. The loader and bucket were in bad shape so I started cutting and welding and. I modified the original upright supports and built a new frame underneath that bolts on to the mower. This loader does not have a separate pump and reservoir, it is limited what it can do and runs off of the mowers hydraulics with the hydro transaxle. I shimmed the pressure relief valve on the hydro pump to increase the lift capacity. It was a lot of work and took some time but turned out nice, my ex father in law is a professional welder and he fabricated the bucket. The welds look sweet on the bucket, I put new hoses and brand new cylinders from surplus center. This is not a bulldozer but it does work good for loose material and gardening. The loader is all done and just needs paint. The 317 John Deere starts and runs excellent and engine has been replaced and upgraded to the full pressure Lube series 2 Kohler 17hp. It does not smoke and runs nice and smooth. The mower drives nice and is in good shape with 23×10.50×12 Carlisle super lug tires and wheel weights. THE REAR HANG ON WEIGHTS ARE NOT INCLUDED, I built the bracket for the back to hold six 42lb suitcase weights. It has a brand new seat and new headlight lens and tailights. Everything is ready for a new coat of paint or use it the way it is. I have owed the unit for several years and never got around to painting it, I was keeping it around since my father in law helped me on it but since his daughter couldn’t keep her pants on, there is no good memories anymore. The answer is YES. I will not crate it up or put it on a pallet or take it apart, Sorry.
