Low Cost Lawnmowers

This is the original – totally designed and tested by me. Once again someone has copied my design. Please don’t support Thieves!! This is a Hitch I designed for lawn tractors for you folks that want to improve your machines towing ability without using my receiver style hitches. It bolts on with a 5/8 bolt (included) right into the factory hole on your factory hitch. The base that sits on your hitchplate is 7 inches long, 3 inches deep. The 5/8 mount hole is slotted for a near perfect fit on every machine. Your factory hitch hole must be 1 inch or more from center of hole to vertical wall of your factory hitchplate to work. I have 2 – 3/8 holes also drilled on the outside edge if you want to add 2 more bolts for stability. The hitch is designed to set right down on your hitch plate. The baseplate helps to distribute the weight on your factory hitchplate. You will get appx. 4 inches of rise and 3- 5 inches of extension by using this hitch. It is drilled for a 3/4 inch shanked ball. The smaller hole at the end will accept a 1/2 inch pin. You are able to mount a ball, and still have a hole for trailer tongue type towing. A couple of the pictures shows the hitch without paint for detail clarity. The hitch comes with one 5/8 mounting bolt This hitch is overbuilt. You will not tear it up under normal use.
