They are built using 1/4 inch steel mounting base, 1/8 inch steel sides and top, and 1 Sch 10 pipe to support the universal shoe. Universal shoe is easily acquired when replacement becomes necessary. Typically no drilling or welding required for installation; use existing bolts and bolt holes. In particular, the mounting holes for the skid shoe brackets in this listing are 3 apart. If the bolt hole spacing for your blade is different, you can secure the skid shoe bracket using one of your existing blade bolts and tack weld the other end of the bracket or drill another hole and attach with appropriate hardware. Below is a list of Farm Star back blades that use SK-6 shoe assemblies. This listing includes 2 complete skid shoe assemblies; 1 skid shoe assembly for each side of blade.
