Had 8 hp Kohler cast iron motor rebuilt in 04 (have receipts). Had carb and starter replaced at same time. Also blasted and painted underside of deck and new blades put on but never mowed with because I used it only as a snow thrower after engine was rebuilt. Repair(kind of) to front of hood when I first got it. Original seat (coming loose around edges). Oil changes and greased religiously. Use as is or restore this classic like it deserves. Has more torque and power than a new JD 20hp. Can possibly deliver if reasonably close. Have service records from dealer to prove it. Hydrostatic transmission with foot and hand controls, has a 15hp Kohler pro engine and 42 convertible mowing/mulching deck. Grass deflector is cracked but it doesn’t affect the mowing. Deck is dirty in pictures, since then it has been cleaned up a lot nicer. Tractor is ready for the upcoming mowing season. Feel free to ask questions, UPDATE- replaced the broken grass deflector with another one that is in good shape and works well.
