You can switch from the receiver hitch to the clevis hitch in a matter of minutes and still use #104659 snow plow/tiller bracket and stock wheel horse pin hitch with this as pictured. Please note you must be able to remove your pin in the back of your transmission for installation. Please note this will fit most wheel horse two piece cast iron transmissions and if used on an earlier model the slot hitch must be removed. This is a brand new custom receiver Hitch made to bolt onto Lawn tractors. It bolts on with a 5/8 bolt (included) right into the factory hole on your factory hitch. The base that sits on your hitchplate is 7 inches long and 3 inches deep. The mount bolt is in a slotted hole so it will line up and set down on any factory hitchplate. I have 2 – 3/8 holes also drilled if you want to add 2 more bolts for stability. This hitch is overbuilt and made by me here in the USA – You will not tear it up under normal use. You will get the receiver – the insert – pin and clip for insert – and a 5/8 mount bolt. The insert is drilled for a 3/4 shank ball. The insert will flip over to get more drop if desired. The insert also has a hole at the end for a 1/2 inch pin for trailer pin type hook up. You do not have to remove the ball to pull a trailer with a hitch pin. The tow ball is not included.
