We are the only rebuilder of these units that manufactures hand parts and/or rebuilds the individual units to spec. We specialize in rebuilding units that others would SCRAP. SCORED BORES IN THE DAMPENER PISTON? CHECK VALVES LOOSENED AND DAMAGED THE THREADS? PINTLE-SHAFT WORN OR SCORED? THE ROTOR BUSHING TO FACTORY SPECS. The only thing that we cannot repair. Is a unit that is cracked/broken into the oil cavities, or a unit whose casting is porous and letting the oil seep through the metal! The cam-ring is broken and requires a new/gently used one. This rebuild service is for the hydrostatic unit from the input shaft all the way up to (and including) the motor rotor. BE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR MOTOR ROTOR! Hydrostatic Drive units sent to us must be in rebuild-able condition! No severely corroded, water damaged or otherwise fossilized units. Our rebuild service does not currently include any work on the planetary axle/final drive unit. Does my hydrostat need to be rebuilt? As a result, loss of power is experienced on the unit, especially on hot summer days. Perhaps you are not able to drive uphill or lose power as the unit heats up (very common). Our rebuild service will restore the power your hydrostat as well as alleviate other common issues experienced on these units. How long will this rebuild process take? We have been rebuilding hydrostats for over 20 years and have been providing this service locally for over 15 years. During this time, we have noted that the wear characteristics are predominantly consistent for these hydrostats. Therefore, the standard rebuild process is as follows. Each unit is completely disassembled, inspected and cleaned. The rotor bushing is inspected, measured, and upgraded bushing installed when necessary. In addition, rotor is refitted with the correct ball clearances, thus bringing the. Shafts are measured and inspected. Spindle shafts are rarely ever worn except in extreme cases. If shaft is worn (very rare), you will be contacted about your options. Check valves are inspected for correct functionality and replaced when necessary. ALL seals and gaskets are replaced BRAND NEW. After assembly, each unit is run on the test stand under load to measure potential loss of performance as the unit temperature rises. Design operating temperature on these units is 180 degrees Fahrenheit, but we run them to 200 degrees Fahrenheit on the test stand in order to ensure proper operation. Additional Service as Necessary. In the event your unit needs additional attention beyond what is stated above, you will be contacted first with your options.
