John Deere Front Metal Bumper GX335 335 GX355 325 345. 325 335 345 355 GX325 GX335 GX345 GX355. We have for sale the black metal bumper to protect the hood of your John Deere tractor from impacts. This will only fit the 300 Series tractors like 325 335 345 355 GX325 GX335 GX345 GX355. This is made of heavy steel and mounts in front of the green plastic hood and will protect your hood from damage. These bumpers are fairly easy to remove. The top bolt gets bolted fast with a spacer and the lower bolt and nut are bolted tight. The only thing is you will have to remove bumper to remove deck there is not enough clearance to removed front deck hanger to removed deck. Again that is easy to do with some simple tools. The mounting hardware is included in the price of this bumper and will be packaged together. These are very solid Steel bumpers. As you can see in the picture they mount these bumpers very close to the deck hanger but that is the way John Deere mounts them, it just barely clears. This protects your hood from damage or breakage if you were to hit a object. The John Deere part was BM20821. These bumpers are no longer made by John Deere. This is made of a strong metal tubing 2 tubes and have all the mounting hardware included, so all you need to do is mount it on your tractor. I have designed it so that if your hood hinges are broken and your hood wants to tip the whole way forward this will catch the hood and keep it from falling front. These are very tough bumpers and have been designed well to protect your front hood and plastic bumper assembly.

The right side of the metal bumper is cut out so the exhaust can be vented out without any interference. These are not a john deere design but ours since we have had customers wishing they could protect their hoods from breaking. We have had noticed that the hood can still get warm so we are now including an exhaust deflector with this bumper. You can see how it is to be installed from the pictures. You will recieve the bumper, exhaust deflector and mounting hardware. We have noticed on some of the bumpers that the distance between the arms is a little wider than the frame you can either put longer bolts in or bend the arms together slightly to make it fit better if your’s happens to be one. This will fit the following john deere models lx172, lx173, lx176, lx178, lx186, lx188 gt242 gt262 and gt275. It will not fit any other model tractor.
