Rebuild your own Johnson Loader cylinders used on the Deere 20, Kubota B219, and Johnson 14,27 and 30 loaders. These cylinders are 2″ diameter with 1 1/8″ rods. These loaders were used on many garden tractors of the’70’s and 80’s. Note: The Johnson 14 was equipped with either 1 1/2″ diameter cylinders or 2″ cylinders on all four cylinders. IF you have the smaller 1 1/2″ diameter cylinders, see my other kit for 10, 10TC, 12 and 14(with 1.5″ cyl). Included in these kits are all the O-rings, backup O-rings and seals/wipers for the 2 lift and 2 tilt cylinders, to rebuild all four of your cylinders. I do include an exploded view for you to follow along. The kits have all of the o-rings and seals packaged together as they are easy to match up to the old for replacement. I use Timken, National or SKF seals for wipers, and have seen no real difference between brands. These cylinders are some of the easiest to get apart because of the gland design and simple snap ring to remove it. Many tractor addicts have repaired their own cylinders, using my kits, although they had never worked on hydraulic cylinders before. The only special tools needed are snap-ring pliers, a vise and a big wrench/adjustable wrench for the piston nut (about 1.5). If you have another garden tractor not listed, I may be able to put together a kit for it too, especially if you have the parts manual or at least the size of piston rods and cylinders being used. Loader needs a good cleaning (been sitting a while). Will need one of the long Hoses- rest of hoses looks good. Good Solid Usable Condition – bucket has some damage (will need welded). Mounts to the tractor very easy – Rear slides on two studs (like a tiller). Front slides down in the front frame notches (like a snow blade does). I use this machine daily. I have owned it for several years with great reliability. We have set the price purposefully high and description purposly brief to encourage experienced collectors to leave contact information to arrange for inspection in person. Price posted is just an arbitrary number. You just need to like this machine a little bit more than i do to own it. Original grill in box in good condition. Engine side panels left off since loader installed. (don’t have the heart to clearance them for the loader since prices have shot up). Loader has its own pump and resevoir does not rely on tractor hydro. Very fast very strong. Will post pictures of these items soon.
