This is a vintage cub cadet international original lawnmower/tractor. Serial number is 3924 leading us to believe this is one of the first few made. They started at 501 and made 2000 a month so this would be into the second month of making these. This has the kohler engine that is a 7 horse. Needs restore, I didn’t have it running found at estate sale. The engine is free. The serial number shows this was made march 1961. Info found online about these tractors. Prototypes 401 410 were built at the Louisville Plant from the time of October 5th -14th, 1960. Of these tractors, 409 & 411 are known to still exist. Test tractors 501 525 were built at the Louisvile Plant in the month of November 1960. All were sent to the Southern States for 50 hours of testing per tractor. A limited production of 526 589 was used to select the best manufacturing methods and assembly line procedures. The Orginal was released to the public in January of 1961 with starting serial number 590. Of the trial lot of 25 Cub Cadet test tractors built, at least 6 are known to exist: S/N’s 505, 510, 515, 516, 518, 522. Ask other questions you have!! I have a 1968 International Cub Cadet 123 hydrostatic lawn tractor. It as a working hydraulic pump that powers a snow plow. I also a mover deck for it but isn’t hooked up(not functioning). 1984 international harvester cub cadet 782d (diesel), includes wheel weights, 50″ deck and 54″ snow plow blade. It has 477 original hours on the tractor and it starts as fast as a gas engine. It does have a new battery. The diesel engine has unbelievable power and speed. It blows away my cub cadet 1554gt. The tractor has been kept in a barn and garaged it’s whole life but show it has 31 years of wear. I have the original receipt $5,798, owner’s manual and sales brochures. It could use some cosmetic work but is in usable condition. International harvester loboy farm tractor 185 lo-boy lo boy – either a 1974 or 1975………….. This tractor has been stored inside…………. It starts right up, doesn’t smoke……… All gears work, including reverse…………. Tires all have good tread and don’t leak but do have weather checking- still good in my book……………… Belly hydraulics work perfectly and piston not rusty ! The rear pto works fine which would drive a belly mower or other implements………. The fiberglass nose looks like new! This is a great tractor that is ready for work!
