FRONT BUMPER for your. John Deere Lawn Tractor. This Listing is for the Black Front Bumper NOT the Hood. Up for sale is the latest in John Deere aftermarket accessories…. It’s a front bumper for your JD that you shouldn’t be without!! Protect your investment with this HEAVY DUTY front bumper. NO expense was spared when these were designed! They’re constructed out of CNC laser cut 1/4 thick U S A made plate steel. NOT 3/16 or thinner like the competition. It has two laser cut mounting points on each side of plate that bolt together to the existing holes in the frame. The actual bumper (front piece of pipe) is made out of schedule 40 pipe. NOT “Tubing/Exhaust Pipe”, which is less than a 1/16 thick. DON’T BE FOOLED by the competition when they say “Heavy gauge” steel…. There is a reason why they don’t tell you the thickness of the material they’re using! Me on the other hand, I like to be honest with my customers right up front, and my FEEDBACK shows it!! Below I have listed the LX models this bumper will fit. Please contact me if you don’t see yours listed! This style of Bumper does “NOT” require a deflector for the exhaust. In the 3rd picture from the end, you’ll see a clear view of the outlet on the muffler. It’s not entirely obstructed like other manufactures have done on their bumpers. So there’s No need for the extra deflector to be installed. If you are considering on purchasing one of these, but are still not 100% convinced, please keep in mind that these bumpers are Manufactured in the State of Wisconsin where John Deere Lawn Tractors have been built for over 50 years! I would also like to mention that these were designed NOT to obstruct your view. They don’t wrap all the way around the front like some of the others I’ve seen. Please take a look at the last two pictures I have in my listing. You’ll see that even when your body is tilted to one side, you still have a view of what is in the front of tires. Which in turn, will allow you to get closer to objects without hitting them while still protecting the most important hood and front panel. WHAT COMES IN THE BOX. John Deere front weight bracket/bumper. This bracket will fit the following 110,112 (1968 and newer) 120,140,210,212,214,216,314,316 (Kohler) and 317. All pieces laser cut parts. The box is then Zinc Plated and then is powder coated. All mounting hardware is included. This unit has a weight hold down bar. Will hold 6 suitcase weights “not included” but still available through John Deere, Lowes, Home Depot or used. If you are using rear implements that are heavy like a tiller, one bottom plow or bagging unit this will even out the weight load so your tractor handles better. When you are not using heavy implements on the back you remove the weights and use this as a bumper. The heavy bracket will save you from damaging those expensive hoods, grills, and headlights.
