Kohler cylinder head and NOS OEM Kohler cylinder head gasket. No longer available new, this head has been bead blasted and mating surface machined perfectly flat. Spark plug threads are perfect as are both engine tin mounting threads. No broken or damaged cooling fins either. Fits Kohler K341 16HP engines. Comes with a small package of anti-seize to apply on spark plug threads so that future replacement of spark plug doesn’t cause damage to threads, and two new grade 8 mounting bolts for the engine tins. Everything you need to get back to work quick. NOTE: Hairline cracks are a common occurrence and can’t be seen under a layer of carbon. Look closely at any used cylinder head for tiny cracks near the spark plug threads and between the valves. These are common issues which is why we bead blast ours and then have them inspected and machined by trained machinists who also torque test all threads. We only use OEM Kohler cylinder head gaskets as aftermarket gaskets are about half as thick and have no insulating material like genuine Kohler gaskets do. Purchasing a used cylinder head which hasn’t been cleaned and properly inspected is a risky venture. Many sellers will list heads without regard to its condition. Some 90% of the heads we remove from good running engines are warped to some degree and are not suitable for use unless they are machined. Doing the job right the first time will increase your tractor’s productivity and insure your engine operates up to its full potential. Don’t take that chance! Did you know that carbon buildup on heads acts similar to a sponge and absorbs raw fuel which contributes to poor cold starting conditions and rough operation when engine is running? Any major tune-up should include the removal and decarbonizing of the head. Removing any paint and grease from exterior of head promotes more efficient cooling by allowing heat to travel to cooling fins where it can dissipate into the air. We don’t paint our heads as doing so prevents equal heat dissipation through the cooling fins. Always insure the engine tins are installed. They force air to flow through the cooling fins on the cylinder and the head. Otherwise air will take the path of least resistance and flow around the engine. Lastly, check the screen on the flywheel and make sure it’s clear of grass clippings and debris. Cool air is pulled in through the screen but if it’s plugged the engine will not be cooled. This listing is for a used genuine Simplicity – Allis Chalmers hydraulic lift kit. This package contains the control valve, hydraulic cylinder, rock-shaft, cylinder support bracket, steel lines, hydraulic hoses, and lift lever. The parts came off of a Simplicity 7117 tractor that had a blown engine. The hydraulic system worked well prior to the motor going bad. To fully disclose imperfections there is a nick in one of the hydraulic hoses but this is completely cosmetic since the hoses are steel braid under the rubber. This is a common problem due to the lack of space under the chassis of the tractor and every other one that I had is identical. Additionally the lift cable was tied at one spot to probably lift the deck higher. This should work on all of the large frame Simplicty/ Allis Chalmers, Allis Deutz tractors with a few listed below. Simplicity 7000, 7100 series GTH-L. Allis Chalmers 700 & 900 series. Please double check if this will work prior to purchasing. Please note that all parts will be packaged in a long 35 X 10 X 6 box due to the long steel lines. All other parts will be individually bubble wrapped and or bubble wrapped and boxed to go inside the long box to prevent any damages or loss. 1973 Simplicity Power Max 9020 serial # 1690072 001659. Shows 2060 hours on a working meter. 19.5 horse power Onan twin cylinder engine, Hydrostatic drive with three speed ranges, front bumper, three point hitch, wheel weights, 60 cut mower deck. Also include is 52 snow blower with electric chute control, mounting and drive. 60 Front blade with heavy duty rubber scraper edge, mounting and two new hoses for the cylinder. Rubber rear tire chains that will not scratch drive ways. Two new front tires on rims. Discharge chute for deck if you want to attach a collection system for picking up grass and leaves. Custom made metal dollys for the snow blower and mower deck that are very well made and allow you to roll these attachments around when they are off the tractor. (these attachments are VERY HEAVY). There also is a wooden dolly for the front blade so you can roll it around as well. Tractor starts easy and runs well with plenty of power. Hydraulics and transmission work properly along with all three speed ranges. Mower deck is quiet, has striping rollers on it and gives a very nice cut with that ball park appearance. All tires are in very good condition, headlights work. Tractor is all original and has been very well cared for. I have not cleaned this in any way. There are a few faults with the tractor however. The worst being that the previous owner had a problem with the rear pto clutch/driveshaft assembly and removed it for repair but since he never used it decided not to repair it and misplaced it. The rear pto would run at engine speed (2000 rpm) and really could only be used with a rear tiller made for this speed. So if you do not plan on using a tiller you don’t need the rear pto. It does not effect the tractor operation in anyway. Also there is a gear oil leak at the right side of the rear axle. It does leave some oil on the floor of the garage but i keep an eye on the gear case and add some when needed. Just never took the time to try to repair it. The parking and service brakes could use adjustment but being a hydrostatic drive i never use the brakes. There are operator and parts manuals for tractor, deck, blower and blade. An incredibly well built heavy duty garden tractor with lots of life left and a great collector tractor. This is pretty much the same tractor as Allis Chalmers models 616, 620, 720 as Simplicity built these for Allis. Sells all together for one price. Hours may go up slightly as i still mow with it.
