FRONT BUMPER for your. John Deere Lawn Tractor. This Listing is for the. Front Bumper NOT the Hood. Up for sale is the latest and greatest in John Deere aftermarket accessories…. It’s a front “HITCH” bumper for your JD that you shouldn’t be without!! Protect your investment with this HEAVY DUTY front bumper that now has an option of accepting a 1-1/4 square receiver tube. In the 4th picture, I show the receiver installed with a 2 ball and the hood fully opened to show the clearance between the two. STOP, trying to back trailers into tight spots!! Having to twist your body around to see what’s behind you? With this style of bumper, you now have FULL visual control over the trailer. Trying to haul around and dump leaves this fall, or splitting wood for the winter ahead has just become a lot easier!! Designed for “light duty” trailers with ” low ” tongue weight. Constructed the same way as ALL of my other bumpers. CNC laser cut ¼ thick. Made plate steel (Not 3/16 or thinner like the competition). CNC laser cut mounting hole on each side of the plate (Not plasma cut like the competition). Bumper pipe is made from almost 3/16 thick schedule 40 pipe (Not 1/16 or thinner Tubing/Exhaust pipe). Utilizes the existing Factory holes in the frame. DON’T BE FOOLED by the competition when they say “Heavy gauge” steel…. There is a reason why they don’t tell you the thickness of the material they’re using! After receiving the bumper, if you don’t think its better and Heavier Duty then the “John Deere” originals. FRONT BUMPER for your. John Deere Lawn Tractor. This Listing is for the Black Front Bumper NOT the Hood. Up for sale is the latest in John Deere aftermarket accessories…. It’s a front bumper for your JD that you shouldn’t be without!! Protect your investment with this HEAVY DUTY front bumper. NO expense was spared when these were designed! They’re constructed out of CNC laser cut 1/4 thick U S A made plate steel. NOT 3/16 or thinner like the competition. It has two laser cut mounting points on each side of plate that bolt together to the existing holes in the frame. The actual bumper (front piece of pipe) is made out of schedule 40 pipe. NOT “Tubing/Exhaust Pipe”, which is less than a 1/16 thick. DON’T BE FOOLED by the competition when they say “Heavy gauge” steel…. There is a reason why they don’t tell you the thickness of the material they’re using! Me on the other hand, I like to be honest with my customers right up front, and my FEEDBACK shows it!! Below I have listed the LX models this bumper will fit. Please contact me if you don’t see yours listed! This style of Bumper does “NOT” require a deflector for the exhaust. In the 3rd picture from the end, you’ll see a clear view of the outlet on the muffler. It’s not entirely obstructed like other manufactures have done on their bumpers. So there’s No need for the extra deflector to be installed. If you are considering on purchasing one of these, but are still not 100% convinced, please keep in mind that these bumpers are Manufactured in the State of Wisconsin where John Deere Lawn Tractors have been built for over 50 years! I would also like to mention that these were designed NOT to obstruct your view. They don’t wrap all the way around the front like some of the others I’ve seen. Please take a look at the last two pictures I have in my listing. You’ll see that even when your body is tilted to one side, you still have a view of what is in the front of tires. Which in turn, will allow you to get closer to objects without hitting them while still protecting the most important hood and front panel. WHAT COMES IN THE BOX.
