John Deere front weight bracket/bumper. This bracket will fit the following 110,112 (1968 and newer) 120,140,210,212,214,216,314,316 (Kohler) and 317. All pieces laser cut parts. The box is then Zinc Plated and then is powder coated. All mounting hardware is included. This unit has a weight hold down bar. Will hold 6 suitcase weights “not included” but still available through John Deere, Lowes, Home Depot or used. If you are using rear implements that are heavy like a tiller, one bottom plow or bagging unit this will even out the weight load so your tractor handles better. When you are not using heavy implements on the back you remove the weights and use this as a bumper. The heavy bracket will save you from damaging those expensive hoods, grills, and headlights. My understanding is that the belly bracket is the same for a 316, 318, and 332. If you have a 400, 420, or 430 you will need a different subframe. Up for sale is John Deere 300 garden tractor. Disregard the hood decals as they are not correct. I used this tractor to mow one season and with a 49 blower on it last winter. The engine was rebuilt by a local shop at 560 hours on the hour meter. The meter currently has 574 hours on it. It comes with a 48 deck that has all new bearings in it as of last fall. The deck comes with a mule drive, good belt and the deck covers. The deck does have surface rust but no holes. It’s a good, solid deck. It has H2 hydraulics that come in handy to use a 4way blade. The rear tires do have some cracks but tubes were installed last winter. Everything on this tractor works as it should. It does creep when it’s in neutral but that’s an easy fix. I was going to repaint it the correct color and restore it completely but never got around to it. A set of John Deere 300 decals are also included as well as the operators manual. For the right price I will throw in an Alz Welding rear weight bracket. Please contact me with any questions. You are more than welcome to come look at it and inspect it.
