Please note that this only works with the 48 mower deck. If you have a 100 series with a 42″ or 54″ deck this will not work. This new kit comes with blades now (Please note these blades will not fit the L series tractors). The one thing you might have to do is to drill a hole in your gauge wheel bracket so the new style lower chute will fit. We are providing a paper with the templet on it so you will know where to drill the hole. JOHN DEERE BAGGER FOR D 100 SERIES EQUIPPED WITH 48 DECK BG20777. The hopper design provides efficient bagging performance, clean operation, and easy-to-empty bags. Two durable bags with a generous, 6.5-bu (229-L) capacity lift out for emptying and are easy to reinstall. Efficient lower chute provides smooth flow of material to reduce chance of plugging. Standard mower blades can be used for bagging, high-lift blades are available for very difficult bagging conditions. Air-exhaust duct directs air from the hopper back and toward the ground for clean operation. Convenient bungee-cord fastener makes opening and closing the hopper easy. It is easy to install and remove the hopper, and no tools are required after the initial installation. Pins and spring clips hold the hopper and chute in place; there is nothing left to interfere with other attachments when removed. Loose-knit bags allow more air to flow through to provide complete bag filling in wet and heavy grass conditions. Tractor compatibility and requirements. 6.5-bu (229-L) Rear Bagger is compatible with. D100 Series Tractors equipped with 48-in. Front ballast is recommended when bagging on hillsides. Use of rear tow-behind attachments that could come in contact with the hopper assembly is not recommended when the hopper assembly is installed. Special mower blades are not required.
