This is the Briggs and Stratton 18HP engine that was removed from the mower listed below. This engine started and ran fine. The specifications are as follows: model 350447, type 1111-E1, code 040030511. It presently has an oil filter on it that should be replaced. This engine includes the 12 volt starter, air cleaner, and fuel pump. It does not include the muffler or fuel tank. Notice: I ran this engine only lightly to make sure it ran and did not work it hard. Failure to add oil before starting may potentially ruin the engine. Remember: This is a used engine. This is a nice heavy built john deere lawn tractor. It is a model gt235 which has a 18hp motor and 54 deck. Runs great, does not smoke and has a very nice deck that is not broke or all welded on. No hour meter on it! The hood is broke at the hinge point which is common on these. It will sit on the machine but no flip up. If you try to open it then it comes off! The seat also has the yellow padding loose from the black plastic part. You can still use it fine but it is loose. This one was just serviced with oil changed blades sharpened etc. Nice unit that was very expensive new!
