This is a Gravely tractor that I built for my personal use. I used features I liked from different year tractors. It started life as a 5260 8HP tractor. I wanted an engine without points so I found an 8HP Kohler Magnum engine rebuilt it and installed a new old stock crankshaft. It is electric start but has a pull start for a backup. Transmission was taken apart inspected and resealed. I also liked the hood and controls from the newer style tractors and installed them. Hubs , wheels and tires are also new. The mower deck shell and guards are new. The gear box was taken apart and it has a new vertical shaft and new seals. Battery , wiring and switches are all new. This is about as close as you can get to a new Gravely. It has less than 5 hours on it since restoration.
