Low Cost Lawnmowers

This is a John Deere 116 Hydro Lawn Tractor with a 46 Mower Deck. The tractor is in good condition, as it has been setting unused in a garage for many years. The hood has a crack or two in it, but it is in better than normal condition. The mower deck has some welds on it, but it is ready to mow. The Briggs & Stratton 402707 engine will start and run until the mower is engaged. After the mower has run for a few minutes, the engine dies. I have been told by a mechanic that the engine probably needs to be rebuilt, because the compression is only 90# on both cylinders, and that causes the vacuum to be too low to operate the fuel pump at full efficiency, so the engine runs out of gas and dies. I had the carb rebuilt, installed a new battery, a new air filter, new spark plugs, new gas filter, and a new fuel shut off valve. The seat is in very good condition, the tires are in very good condition, and some of the fuel lines were replaced.
