Low Cost Lawnmowers

This is a John Deere 116 Hydro Lawn Tractor with a 46 Mower Deck. The tractor is in good condition, as it has been setting unused in a garage for many years. The hood has a crack or two in it, but it is in better than normal condition. The mower deck has some welds on it, but it is ready to mow. The Briggs & Stratton 402707 engine will start and run until the mower is engaged. After the mower has run for a few minutes, the engine dies. I have been told by a mechanic that the engine probably needs to be rebuilt, because the compression is only 90# on both cylinders, and that causes the vacuum to be too low to operate the fuel pump at full efficiency, so the engine runs out of gas and dies. I had the carb rebuilt, installed a new battery, a new air filter, new spark plugs, new gas filter, and a new fuel shut off valve. The seat is in very good condition, the tires are in very good condition, and some of the fuel lines were replaced. After stopping engine the pto keeps spinning. Doses not smoke or knock. Yes i know hood says a 318 but its a 316. Tires do not match as showed and head lights are missing. Here is the work that has been done on this mower since I got it this spring, parts, bearing and axle caps air filter and pre cleaner, battery cable, headlight lens and emblem, front bumper, tune up. This is work done charged battery adjusted brake repaired muffler shield, reattached muffler, replaced spark plug, changed engine oil, greased deck and chassis sharpened and balanced blade cleaned deck plus leveled and raised deck, mower has been used since work was done, mower is not hydrostatic. This mower has some years on it but is still in great working order and all work done on it has been done by professional small engine mechanic, im sorry but it does not have a hour read out.
